Day 1 Arrival at Makassar
Transfer from hotel in Nusa Dua/Kuta/Sanur to Denpasar
Airport.
Take flight to Makassar, arrive at Hasanuddin airport,
meet and greet service, we drive directly to Toraja
(distance 308 km) pass through Bugisnese villages. On
the way to Tana
Toraja we stop to see the construction
of Bugisnese traditional sailing boat (phinisi). Lunch
at local seafood restaurant and take a short break at
Puncak Lawakan to enjoy hot tea or coffee. Arrive at
hotel, check-in and have dinner at the hotel.
Day 2 Full day Toraja Tour
After breakfast at the hotel, full day Toraja
excursion visiting Lemo, Marante Londa, the ancient stone
graves, where the bodies of the dead are
replace with animistic
ritual that is still performed until
today. Also visiting Kete Kesu, Siguntuk and Nanggala
to see traditional Toraja
houses which are designed
in a boat shapes. Lunch at local restaurant and dinner
at the hotel.
Day 3 Transfer Out
Soon after an early breakfast, we leave Toraja for Makassar
and drive to the airport. A short break at the Puncak
Lawakan for having lunch at local seafood restaurant.
Arrive at Hasanuddin airport and flight back to
Denpasar.
Arrive at Denpasar Airport and transfer to your hotel.

Unlike many other Indonesian
islands, only Sulawesi's northeastern and southwestern
extremities (the Minahasa and Makassar regions) are volcanic,
and instead of gently sloping contours and broad plains, most
of the island consists of jagged uplands and rugged plateaus
lying 500 meter (1,600 feet) or more above sea level. The
central peaks of Sulawesi reach as high as 3,400 meters
(11,000 feet).
