Terms & Conditions when booking a hotel/villa room with Merdeka Tours & Travel

Reservations or info requests can be made through our Hotel Booking Form and should be filled out completely. Correct email address is the most required when making reservation. Your booking details will be processed right away and will be replied at the shortest possible time.

Reservations will be processed according to room availability of the hotel. Therefore, it is recommended to make reservations 14 (fourteen) days in advance. If the room at your selected hotel is not available at the time, an alternative hotel with similar features will be suggested to you.

Rates of hotels, resorts or villas described in this website are quoted in US Dollars. Rates are for April 31, 2004 - March 31, 2005 and are occasionally, if rarely, subject to changes without prior notice. Before making reservations, please familiarize yourself with the items included with the hotel of your choice.

All payments to be made at Full Payment in advance via telegraphic transfer to the account of Merdeka Tours & Travel or by credit card. We only accept Visa and MasterCard.

The Authorization Form for payment made by credit card can be printed directly by clicking the Credit card details and Authorization Form that show at the bottom of this page. Fill out the form completely and send back to us by facsimile to +62 361 287678 or 286621.

Merdeka Tours & Travel does not normally accept credit card payment for amounts exceeding US$ 1500 unless accompanied by a signed approval of the charge(s) by the client. If the amount owed exceeds this limit then payment should be made by telegraphic transfer. All charges or costs incurred are the clients' responsibility and the client should make sure they specify "Full Amount" when making payment by bank transfer. The booking cannot be confirmed until Merdeka Tours & Travel has received full payment.

Merdeka Tours & Travel accepts only Visa and MasterCard and all credit card transactions are subject to a 3% administration fee.

Final approval of the reservation request is subject to clearance of payment.

Merdeka Tours & Travel will apply an administration fee of any change of booking after a confirmation has been issued. Amount of administration fee and acceptance of any change is subject to approval by both the hotel and Merdeka Tours & Travel.

Cancellation policy information will be provided to you later as the policy is differ between one hotel to another and to protect against cancellation caused by unforeseen events, such as illness, strikes, last minute cancellations, Acts of God and more; we recommend guests purchase trip cancellation insurance to insure refund of deposits paid.

Merdeka Tours & Travel acts only as agent for the hotels or their assigns for all accommodations listed. Under no circumstance shall Merdeka Tours & Travel be responsible for any personal loss by individuals renting the accommodations represented by Merdeka Tours & Travel.

Expenses, claims, or injury, direct or indirect, caused or incurred before, during or after the party's stay in the accommodations represented by Merdeka Tours & Travel including attorney's fees.

Merdeka Tours & Travel will not be held liable under any circumstances, including substitutions, to refund any unused portion of booked accommodations or services as described in these "Terms & Conditions".

Merdeka Tours & Travel will not be held liable and will be otherwise rendered harmless for any events arising in law as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s) or change(s) in the provision of accommodations or services provided by Merdeka Tours & Travel for reasons of military action, revolutions and acts of God or by any agents, employees, sub contractors, servants or third parties whatsoever supplying any of the services herein.
